Prof. Mo Jiang, Virginia Commonwealth University

Mo Jiang is an Associate Professor in the Polytechnic School of Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. His research focuses on advancing the scalable precise production of crystals for health and energy applications. Dr. Jiang earned a B.S. in Biology from Tsinghua University (2006), an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2008), and a Ph.D. from MIT (2015), where he also completed postdoctoral research on crystallization process design. He also interned at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Abbott Laboratories (now AbbVie). From 2018 to 2025, he worked at Virginia Commonwealth University where he became an Associate Professor.
