Mark obtained his Ph.D. from Manchester University, 1986-1989, under the tutelage of the renowned Organometallic Chemist Professor Brian Booth. From there he joined Merck Process Research group in the UK before transferring to Merck Research Laboratories Rahway NJ in 1999. Mark has a rich history of designing practical robust API syntheses and is the author of numerous Peer reviewed papers. He is highly experienced in the pharmaceutical drug landscape, from early development to API manufacture. He joined J STAR Research in 2011 as a principle Scientist and is currently Vice President of Research and Development overseeing a group of 15 Chemists across as well as managing Client accounts.
